With the help of local musicians Trevor Watkins and lifetime member Alan Beddis the band have maintained close contact with the school to ensure that youth is always being fed into the brass band movement.  Trevor takes lessons down the school weekly and steadily but surely new players have been joining our ranks.  Alan Beddis has a thriving Junior Band which meets at the band room on Wednesday nights at 7:00PM.  Any interested in learning a brass instrument can contact Alan on 01594 563177.  Sophie Collier who came from Alan's junior band now plays 2nd cornet in the senior band and is making remarkable progress.
